  The entire staff of Wilmington funeral and cremation was excellent. From Bryan who made the original arrangements to Charles who drove my mother-in-law’s body to New York were all superb. Though the one who I have to thank the most is Kendell he was fantastic from start to finish, making all necessary arrangements and keeping us informed throughout.   I am sending this in reference to Mr. Douglas Bevell, who was contacted after the sudden death of my son; Geoffrey Goldston on May 22, 2020. I am so sorry that it has taken so long to do this but shortly after my son's death there was a very bad fire in my home.
I just want to take this time to Thank Mr. Bevell from the Bottom of My Heart for all that he did for me at that time, of the worst experiences of my life. I live alone, and had absolutely no idea, with how numb and lost I felt. Mr. Bevell came to my home right away, and I was made to feel as if he was a family member, who was here to do all he could to help; and God knows that, that was the blessing that I needed. I don't know what I would have done if he would have walked into my home with a Business Attitude. Then before leaving he gave me his number and stated; "Call Me Anytime," and know that "I Am Hear For You." I knew he was of heart because when I did call, Mr. Bevell, he was always so willing to give me the time.
Mr. Bevell should be Highly Commended for the Unconditional Love that came so naturel, to him in dealing with a complete stranger at a time that it was so needed. An impression that I never have forgotten even though it has been two years.

  My wife and I want to thank Wilmington Funeral and Cremation for the care they gave our relative. Robbie, Michael (so sorry to hear of his passing) and Samantha were great. They made a stressful situation very bearable. Their expertise and professionalism was greatly appreciated.

  My stepfather recently passed away. My Mother chose Wilmington funeral and cremation. We worked with Samantha from start to finish! She was awesome and very personable though the whole process. If we had any question she was there to answer and was extremely helpful and caring! Thank you once again Samantha. I would highly recommend her.

  Words can't possibly express the amount of respect, care and dignity this funeral home showed to my family. Our son and his wife lost another baby when she was 7 months along. They took the stress off of them with one phone call. They handled everything. I hope I won't need them any time soon but they are definitely going to get all of our business in the future.
