    Dear Tavi, I'm retired from Tech since '08. Today, I bumped into a former colleague at a fleamarket and she told me about your mom's death. I'm in shock and I am so terribly sorry. Before I retired mom told me that she was happy for me for my newfound love. (I remarried in '06). She confided that she had health issues and I wished her well. She was happy just thinking about retiring and moving to NC to be near family. I'm happy she was able to do that. I know her family brought her great joy and pleasure.
