Shirley Jean West Young died on Thursday, February 10, 2011 in her home in Wilmington. By her side were her daughters Patricia Young, Paula Patterson and grandchildren, Gerald W. Welch (Jerry), Christopher Dwayne Wheless, Angel Mae Rogers. Closest friends R.C. Bottles, Future Son-in-law, John Paul Allinen & Stephanie Bell were in attendance.

The family would like for you to remember she is survived by her children; Walter Hearl Young II, Cindy McGee, Christiana Williams, Paula Patterson, Ealva Young Bowden & Patricia Young. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A memorial services will be 6:00 PM,Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Faith Baptist Church in Wilmington . Inurnment services will be held at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.

Jean, you allowed me to be part of your family by having your daughter Trisha as my best friend and watching us grow up together for so many years.
