As I just came into Wilmington 10.18.2019 I went to visit old stomping grounds of kings grant..viewing my old home on lord byron and house beside it where ben Jones (copter)of dukes of hazzard show parents lived..I passed my best friends house from school days also,Buddy kimbell...It made me google want to google up his name...I see many sites on him and to my sadness I see a passing of who I called little ricky,,buddy's brother..I'm so sorry for buddy',family and friends loss..I knew Ricky as the little kid who wanted to hang with his older brother and me at times. He always had that silly giggle and smile from ear to ear.My biggest memory of him was when I took him and a friend of his and mine.I believe it was joey,,Donna Marie bosco brother spot lighting off gordan rd...We were threatened with arrest and jail time if we didn't stop police told us...Ricky and I knew the law.in new Hanover county one of the few county's you can spot light 24/7 all yr.at that time.He wanted to stand up for his rights. AFTER the incident I went downtown police dept. Talked to chief police for harrassment and he had put a memo out to others on the force to not harass people anymore due to Ricky knowing the rules of hunting, spot lighting etc...He always mimicked me as well upon seeing me..Buddy remembers this..we held our hair up off forehead and slapped ourselves silly on the forehead saying words(slap me bald head)..that was old saying from another friend Ricky sullivan... little did we know it did make me bald.lol..I use to work with Barbara at the Hilton as well..anyhow I truly hate the loss in your family. STAY STRONG ...
