He will be missed. To his family, my deepest condolences. He was a great guy. He came to my restaurant many times. I am proud that we have a picture of him eating our food on the wall. He loved the people that worked for me. He really cared about them. There's so many great things to say about him and I can't seem to put them into words. Rest in peace, Buddy.

I also had grown up with Peter in Bellerose,NY and had recently tried to email Peter after seeing his Bio posted on the St. Gregory's class of 63.I guess he was pretty ill at that time so I never heard from him.I thought I possible could see him at the reunion but that won't happen.Glad to have been your friend Peter.

I am sorry to hear of the death of Peter Stora (name as I knew him). I am contacting graduates of St. Gregory's School in Bellerose for a reunion next year and was happy to link up with him about a year ago. He was going to help me contact some graduates. I always enjoyed talking with him on the phone. I did not realize that he passed away a few months back. I am saddened as I am sure other fellow graduates will be. He was so lively and made people feel good. The Class of '63 will be remembering him at the reunion.

    Ron Cianciaruso says:
Peter had a way of lighting up a room with his presence. He was a very artistic and intelligent man, who truly never thought of himself.. always of others. I had the privledge of spending a great deal of time with him and loved him like a brother. We drifted a part in recent years but still kept in touch. Peter never lost his spirit through many obstacles in his life. Now, he will give music to those in the heavens.. what a treat they are in for..

Peter was an amazing person who was like a brother to me. He was a true artist in many senses of the word. I will miss him and his catch phrase "Whoop de do".
