Ona Loyal Osburn Orr, of Warren, Michigan passed away Saturday September 24, 2011.
Born on February 22, 1921 to parents Lloyd and Marjorie Osburn, Ona was one of five daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Orr, Sr. and her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Orr.
Ona had a wonderful sense of humor and met everyone with a delightful smile on her face. She was always happy and ready to help anyone in need. A longtime volunteer for the American Red Cross, and a board member of the Sears Retiree Club, she also worked tirelessly on many committees for Christ Lutheran Church of Warren, Michigan.
She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Ann Orr, son Charles Henry Orr, Jr., his wife Kathleen, grand daughters, Christina Alison Orr and Kelli Marie Glasius, her husband Leif, and great grandson Boden Sean Glasius.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, October 3, 2011 at Christ Lutheran Church, 32300 Schoenherr Rd., Warren Michigan. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Detroit, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Christ Lutheran Church of Warren, Michigan, Lower Cape Fear Hospice
in Wilmington, NC or the American Red Cross.
