Mae Hellen Chrapowitzky

Mae Hellen Chrapowitzky of Winnabow, NC, died Monday, September 13, 2010, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC.

She was born in Erie, PA, on January 23, 1952, the daughter of the late Perry and Ethel (Pencille) Greene.

Mae was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed crafts and gardening and had been associated with New Hanover Regional Medical Center as an OR nurse.

Surviving besides her husband, Stanley Chrapowitzky are: two sons, James Murphy and wife Debbie of Saegertown, PA and Steven Chrapowitzky of Bucanan, NY; four daughters, Kimberly Murphy and fiance Chris of Cambridge Springs, PA, Charlene Chrapowitzky of Ocean Isle, NC, Ginger Chrapowitzky of Beacon, NY, and Mandy Chrapowitzky of New Windsor, NY; two brothers, Raymond Greene and Tom Greene, both of Northwest, PA, two sisters; Florance Sturgis and Mary Fries and husband Ted of Waterford, PA, and seven grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 11am Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Cape Fear Memorial Park, Hwy 211, Southport.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Village Road Memorial Chapel, 525 Village Road, Leland, NC and on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
