Kenneth “Corey” Lambert, 32, of Wilmington formerly of Ft. Bragg passed away July 6, 2007.

Kenneth Corey is survived by his wife Cindy Nelson Lambert, daughter Paige Nichole Lambert, step-children Brad, Audrey and Stacy, mother Rebecca Kreiling and her husband Kenneth Kreiling, father Kenneth Lambert, maternal grandparents Ted and Addie Longstreet, paternal Ray and Helen Lambert, brother Casey Lambert, sisters Candice Edwards and Colleen Leyrer, numerous other close family and friends.

Kenneth Corey enlisted in the US Army at age 18 in San Antonio, Texas. He was in the 82nd Airborne Infantry and was a master parachutist and infantry man. He was decorated with numerous medals and awards. He was honorably discharged in 2005 after a service connected parachuting accident. Kenneth Corey was a devoted husband, father, son and brother and will be sorely missed.

A memorial service to celebrate Kenneth Corey’s life will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Wilmington Burial and Cremation Service.

Because Kenneth Corey will not be interred, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.

    We remember Kenny well from Lighthouse Baptist Church, Hope Mills, NC. He was always there when his health allowed. He had a wonderful smile and was so friendly. We are saddened to learn of his passing, but we know he is with the Lord and no longer is suffering. Our prayers are with his family.
