Joyce A. Christian 79, of Wilmington beloved wife of Charles Christian died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center on their 59th Wedding Anniversary.

Joyce was born October 28, 1930 in Camden, NJ the daughter of the late Ernest and Lena Bloom Minka. A graduate of the Monmouth Hospital Nursing School in 1951 she went on to nursing at Muhlenburg hospital and Lyons VA Hospital for 31 years before retiring. Joyce and Charles made their home in Basking Ridge, NJ and Bay Head, NJ before enjoying retirement in Kiawah Island, SC then moving to Wilmington in 2004. She was predeceased in death by a son William Christian.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Robert Christian and wife Susan of Newtown, PA, Thomas Christian of Greenville, SC. and Linda Seitz and husband Tim of Fort Mill, SC. , two wonderful grandchildren Doug and Erin Christian.

Services will be private.
