Cynthia Lea Wilson Butler, 34, of Leland, NC, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.

She was born on February 22, 1977 in New Hanover County and was the daughter of Pastor Robert (Bobby) Cecile Wilson, Jr. and Peggy Lea Watson.

She was a member of the Living Word Church in Wilmington.

Surviving are her husband, Terry Butler; her father, Pastor Robert (Bobby) Cecile Wilson, Jr. and wife, Leslie of Leland; her mother, Peggy Lea Watson Gore and husband, Jim, of Leland; paternal grandmother, Lillie Elizabeth Wilson of Leland; three sisters, Sabrina Renee Vaczy of Leland, Jacqueline Laney of Jacksonville, NC, and Kendra Hewett of Leland; one brother, James Peas of California.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:30pm Thursday October 20, 2011 in Living Word Full Gospel, 6339 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington, NC, by Rev. William Cooper. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.

Graveside services will be 11:00am Friday, October 21 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Wilmington, NC.

The family wishes to thank the Third Floor Staff at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center for their wonderful and loving care.
