Chance Thomas Powell

Chance Thomas Powell of Castle Hayne, NC, died on September 22, 2011, at his residence.

He was born in Wilmington, NC, on October 17, 2009. Chance loved playing on his power wheels and playing outdoors with his sister and cousins. His favorite movie was Goofy and enjoyed watching over and over. He especially enjoyed playing and splashing in the bathtub.

Surviving are: his mother, Rebecca Powell and Jeff Sutton of Castle Hayne, NC, a sister Emily Powell of Castle Hayne, NC, and a grandmother, Leslie Ericksen of Mounds View, MN.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at McClure Presbyterian Church, 5908 Castle Hayne Road, with pastor Denise Jones officiating.
