Catherine Sue Reedy Wells 57, of Leland passed away Thursday December 1, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Cathy was born in Harrisonburg, VA on November 7, 1954 the daughter of Stanley Edward and Arline Barkley Reedy who reside in Greenville, SC. She was preceded in death by a brother Clark Reedy.
Also surviving are her husband of 21 years Kenneth Wells, sons Danny Gralak and wife Missie, Chris Gralak and wife Amy, Michael Wells , daughters Suzette Nelson and husband Weaser, Michelle Wells all of Leland. Sister Pat Godwin and husband David of Wilmington, Eleven Grandchildren.
She was a member of Bridge of Life Church in Leland and was a Ordained Minister. She always thought of others and put God and family first. She loved to sing and preach the gospel of God.
The family would like to thank the Dr’s and staff at NHRMC Women’s Center on the second floor, the staff of Zimmer Cancer Center, and special thanks to Dr. “G” for the love and care given to Cathy and her family.
Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday December 4, 2011 at Bridge of Life Church, (industrial Park) 2220 Suite #2 Mercantile Drive Leland, NC 28451 phone 910.383.2553. The Reverend Jerome Bullard, and Reverend Roy Coleman will officiate the service. The family will see friends from 2 PM until service time. Interment will be private.
