Annetta Ward Samaskeawicz, 81, of Ogden passed away January 17, 2009 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clare and Sophia Ward and her sister Claire Waugh.
Annetta is survived by her husband of 46 years Peter Samaskeawicz, of the home, children William Thayer, Jr. and wife Darlene, Rodney Thayer, Diane Hankins and husband Richard, Peter Thayer, Pauline Miller and Michael Samaskeawicz and his wife Lena, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 4 nieces and 1 nephew, and her dog Babe.
She taught Art at Cape Fear Tech, The Senior Center and was the former owner of The Orange Peel. She retired from The Star News .
Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, January 19, 2009 at Lutheran Church of Reconciliation.
